Description
Superfit 231 is a high strength, low viscosity retaining compound, designed to bond close fitting metal surfaces with an incredibly high structural bond strength. Superfit 231 specializes in bonding cylindrical fitting parts, and maintains an unfaltering bond strength under all levels of cyclic load stress distribution, even at elevated temperatures. Once cured this grade not only locks the components in place, it prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration from constant use.
Superfit 231 is also an oil tolerant grade, and can accommodate a diametrical gap of up to 0.1mm.
Typical applications include:
- The high strength retention of bearings.
- The locking of keys and splines.
- Bonding rotors, bushes, and sleeves onto shafts.
The product is available in 10ml, 50ml and 250ml bottles as standard.
